TFH Continuity – community sessions
A fun, easy, and painless way to prepare for Proficiency, connect with community, get your update, and find confidence with Touch for Health.
We all know that TFH instructors are expected to update every three years. Updates also can be difficult to manage; for those of us who are faculty with only a couple instructors in a country, we don’t want to run a weekend class for 1 or 2 people, and for people who are busy, it can be challenging to take a weekend to review stuff. What I am proposing is a TFH Club. A 2-hour meeting once a month, probably on an afternoon for me so that people from the most time zones could attend. Every month we could go in-depth with a specific muscle or meridian, though the first one would probably be to share the muscle test changes that will be in the new manual. We could even do an entire Metaphors class this way if we wanted, working with one meridian at a time. You could come to whichever events you wanted. When you have banked 16 hours, I can give you an update certificate (or a Metaphors certificate if we do a class this way). But this would be open to TFH students and practitioners as well, and you could use these hours as CEC or towards your association’s required hours.
This would be free for paying members of the College, and a small $15 drop in for everyone else. For instructors from other countries, you would need to ask your faculty if they would count this as your update. It would meet the criteria as set by the IKC for an update, but they can also ask for you to do a certain number of hours face to face with them.
