Class Description
There are very few energetic kinesiology classes dedicated to fertility and pregnancy. Maybe this was partly because it always seemed like an easy and obvious process to the people who were writing muscle response testing classes in decades past. Pregnancy was just sort of something that happened; issues with fertility were relatively rare, and there was less understanding of the impact that nutrition, emotional, and physical stresses could have on an unborn child. Through the science of epigenetics, we are now more aware than ever of the importance of this time in utero for shaping a child’s genetic expression. Therefore, we owe it to the next generation to understand this process and learn how to bring it into balance so that individuals can get the best start in life.
But this isn’t just about those who are pregnant right now. If we understand how these processes work, then we can use this information to balance anyone who experienced stress when they themselves were in utero, regardless of how far in the past that was. Understanding of epigenetic influence and transgenerational stresses allows us to observe patterns and work with them for ourselves, our lineage, and our children.
Understanding the physiology and processes of pregnancy also means having a better understanding of the uterus, the menstrual cycle, and the biological processes that are reflected in these tissues. As Dr Jen Gunter says: “Feminism demands bodily autonomy, and that can be achieved only with facts. You cannot make an empowering decision about your health when the information you have been given is false.”
Fertility is becoming an issue for many different reasons. In this class, we will also discuss hormonal and emotional balance for all genders that allow for healthy conception and promote fertility and the ability to carry a healthy baby to term.
I have always been fascinated by the growth of the baby in utero and here we will work with that growth on all levels; the physical development and changes that are happening for both mother and baby throughout gestation, but also the energetic development. This includes the development and integration of the meridian and chakra systems which need to grow in tandem with the physical tissues – directing physical growth and also being influenced by it.
