CERTIFICATION:
The College will distribute certificates after course attendance for GEMS courses taught through the College. Instructors teaching this course outside of the College are responsible for distributing certificates to their students.
CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Specialized Kinesiology (SK), also called Energetic Kinesiology, uses muscle response testing as a biofeedback mechanism to understand where there is stress in the body energy systems. In this class we study what this means in detail. This class is an entry level course to the field of Specialized Kinesiology and its many derivatives.
You will leave this class with a solid foundation to find your footing in other Kinesiology courses, as well as all the tools you need in order to start practicing, or add to your existing practice. The aim of this class is to teach a system that will give you the ability to work in the Specialized Kinesiology realm and bring in additional aspects as they are learned, so that all information falls under the GEMS umbrella.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- foundational skills you need for working in Specialized Kinesiology and/or adding into your current practice
- what is muscle response testing, how it works and how to do it
- basics of meridians and 5 element theory
- the GEMS (Goal Element Mode Stack) framework for balancing energy in the body
- reactivity and interactivity of body systems
- basic hand modes and correction techniques
- ethics, principles and practices for practitioners
